From Broken to Beautiful: Kintsugi for Everyday Life

Kintsugi is more than simply repairing a broken object. It is a Japanese craft that highlights cracks and imperfections rather than hiding them, transforming them into part of the object’s story. In this workshop, the focus is on creating something you can continue to use in everyday life. The materials meet food-container safety standards, so after allowing your finished piece to rest for the recommended period, you can use it for serving snacks or tea.

Choose the Piece You’ll Give a New Life

Many Kintsugi experiences are merely decorative, but our classes place special emphasis on “practicality.” The materials we use meet food container safety standards, meaning that the finished products you take home, after being properly settling as instructed, can be reused to hold snacks or tea. This is a respect for the objects themselves, and a profound way of preserving the memories of your journey.
