Mount Asahidake is the highest peak in Hokkaido. Take the cable car from the forest belt directly to the mountain belt, and you can witness the steam rising from the crater and spreading through the pure white powder snow, experiencing the most primitive and awe-inspiring landscape of nature.
A perfect first snow hike for beginners
No hardcore mountaineering experience is required. Led by a professional guide, wearing special snowshoes, you can walk at a steady pace on powder trails, making it safe and enjoyable even for first-time snowshoe hikers.

Snow Country Wonder Adventure
Asahikawa Meeting and Departure
Meet at Asahikawa Station or a hotel in the city and take a private car to Daisetsuzan National Park.
Asahidake Ropeway Climbing
Take the cable car straight up and enjoy the entire snowscape along the way.
Powder Snow Hiking Experience
Winter snow hike (approximately 2 hours)
Explore volcanic vapor formations and traverse powder trails with a guide. The route will be adjusted as needed to ensure safety and the best possible experience.
Lunchtime
Enjoy lunch at the cable car station restaurant (at your own expense) to replenish your energy before heading down the mountain.
Gifts and souvenirs
