From selecting the raw wood and carving to fine polishing, every step allows you to touch the grain of the wood with your own hands and experience the joy of self-sufficient creation.

After the experience, the artisan will lead you into the workshop where large furniture is produced. There, you will see how the artisans process huge logs and transform them into top-quality furniture, experiencing firsthand the ultimate charm of Asahikawa furniture craftsmanship.

Arrive at the WOODWORK workshop. Learn about today’s process and the physical properties and aesthetics of different types of wood (such as maple and oak).
Wooden chopsticks making and laser processing
Under the guidance of a skilled craftsman, the chopsticks are polished from rough to fine, and the craftsman personally applies a protective varnish. Finally, a custom inscription is engraved using a laser machine.
