This is Abashiri’s most exhilarating winter trip. Unlike traveling on a large icebreaker, you’ll sit directly on the sea, listening to the sound of ice floes rubbing against the ship. Weave through the gaps in the drift ice, reaching out to touch this gift from Siberia, and feeling the pure and magnificent power of nature.
Paddling on the warm and carefree icy sea
To prepare for the extreme cold of the Sea of Okhotsk, the experience includes a high-quality “Dry Suit.” This gear effectively insulates against icy water and freezing temperatures, keeping you dry and warm on the sub-zero sea surface, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the magnificent drift ice spectacle.

It is recommended to provide the registration date (the 2nd or 3rd day of your desired stay) when making your reservation to increase your chances of success.
