Niseko’s Iconic Highland Wetlands
Located at an altitude of around 750 meters, Jinsennuma Nature Recreation Forest is a peaceful highland landscape of ponds, marshes, and wetlands. It is one of the signature natural attractions of Kyōwa Town.
Four ponds, including Jinsennuma, offer a different experience with every season—from delicate early-summer flowers to vibrant autumn foliage. Each season brings its own character to this tranquil mountain landscape.
From the parking area, it takes approximately 20–30 minutes to reach the wetland area via a well-maintained boardwalk, making this an easy and relaxing walk suitable for most travelers.
