Wind Magic: An Aerial Miracle After a Few Steps of Sprint
Powered paragliding combines the elegance of a hang glider with the power of an engine. At the command of a professional pilot, “3, 2, 1, Go,” you simply sprint across the grass, feeling the wind pressure gradually lift the paraglider. The lightness you feel the moment your feet leave the ground will be unforgettable. Once you enter a stable airflow, simply relax in your harness and enjoy panoramic views of Furano’s famous patchwork landscape from the clouds.

As a long-established local flight base, MPG Sorachi boasts a team of experienced instructors. Before the experience, concise and effective video tutorials and ground practice are provided. The pilots will select the best route based on the day’s air currents, ensuring your safety while allowing you to observe the smoke rising from Mount Tokachi and the vast Ishikari Plain up close – a double feast for the eyes and ears, combining courage and breathtaking visuals.

Ground training and takeoff preparation
Arrival and Check-in and Pre-departure Instructions
Arrive at the office to check in and sign the insurance documents. Watch instructional videos to learn the “sprint” technique for takeoff and the “standing” technique for landing.
Equipment inspection and wind condition confirmation
Staff will assist in putting on specialized equipment such as helmets and harnesses. The pilot will then conduct a final equipment check and confirm the current wind speed to ensure that it meets takeoff standards.
Soaring in the air and landing
400-meter aerial tour
As you take off powered by the engine, once stable, lift your knees and sit in the harness. During the 10–15 minute flight, you can take photos and videos to your heart’s content, and listen to the pilot’s commentary on the surrounding terrain and mountains.
Landing, return, and settlement
Following instructions, I stood up at the landing site and landed smoothly. Back at the office, I removed my equipment, collected my insurance receipt, and settled the insurance premium on the spot, returning home with memories akin to a “flight certificate.”

Weather conditions: Flights are greatly affected by wind speed and rainfall. The organizer reserves the right to cancel or adjust the schedule on the day.
