Itinerary Details
The responsibility from "seeing the live organism" to "serving it on the table"
This is not merely a hunting activity, but a dialogue about survival and ethics. Guided by Mr. Kanesawa, representative of MOMIJI, the tour will help you understand how ecological balance is maintained through scientific and respectful methods in Satoyama management. From the early morning safari in the Johor Bahru highlands to the precise handling of the dismantling site, every drop of sweat and every inch of leather utilized embodies the sustainable philosophy of “making the most of life.”
A sense of ritual at the dining table: The Three Lands Mountain and Sea Feast
The first night’s BBQ was not only a treat for the taste buds, but also a gathering of hunters and artisans. Savor the tender meat of Otsuchi deer and seafood sourced directly from Sanriku, listening to the hunters recount their conservation stories amidst the aroma of charcoal grilling. This meal represents the meeting of ocean and forest, allowing you to receive life’s gifts while learning to treat food with more gentleness and appreciation.
