Snow Country Exclusive: Melt-in-your-mouth "Echigo Princess"
“Echigo-hime” is a variety specifically cultivated for Niigata’s cool climate. Unlike regular strawberries, its flesh is extremely soft and juicy with almost no fiber, and its sweetness can reach over 13 degrees Brix. Because the flesh is delicate and difficult to transport over long distances, it is a “snow country ruby” that can only be enjoyed in Niigata.
Encounter a magical variety: strawberries with a peach scent
The “Fragrance Peach,” specially cultivated by Hanamizu Agricultural Products, is known for its unique floral and fruity aroma and extremely high sweetness, often fetching over 500 yen per fruit. In this experience, you will step into this fragrant greenhouse, where you can not only indulge in delicious fruit but also learn the secrets of how artisans cultivate top-quality fruit in high-altitude, snowy regions.

Farm visit and strawberry tour
Arrival and Check-in
Arrive at Huashui Agricultural Products. After checking in at the counter, collect your picking containers and prepare to enter the warm strawberry greenhouse.
Strawberry Knowledge Elementary School
Farm staff explained the characteristics of Echigo Hime strawberries on-site, taught how to select the reddest and sweetest ripe fruits, and introduced the rare variety Fragrance Peach.
30 Minutes of Sweet Moments
Pick and eat to your heart's content
The 30-minute all-you-can-eat experience is officially launched! Wander among the sturdy strawberry trellises, find your perfect strawberry, and enjoy the freshest and most fragrant taste feast of the season.
Freedom of choice and allocation
The experience has ended. You can return to the shop area to purchase freshly picked strawberries as souvenirs, carrying with you a belly full of sweet energy to continue your snow country journey.

Important Notes: This tour is only available to those driving themselves. Please wear comfortable flat shoes to enter the greenhouse. The temperature inside the greenhouse is high, so it is recommended to wear layers of clothing so that you can easily remove your outerwear. Please treat the crops with care and only pick fruit intended for consumption.
