Ise Grand Shrine, with a history spanning over two thousand years, is hailed as the spiritual home of the Japanese people. Walking along the Tamagotachi approach to the inner shrine, you can feel the solemn energy and sacred atmosphere emanating from the ancient forest. After your visit, the adjacent Okage Yokocho showcases the lively atmosphere of the Edo to Meiji periods. Here, you can sample famous red-mochi (a type of rice cake) and Ise udon noodles, or choose from over 50 unique shops to select the most authentic handcrafted souvenirs.

Pucun Oysters - 100-minute all-you-can-eat

Head straight to the oyster shack in Tobaura Village. Enjoy a full-on oyster feast with grilled, steamed, fried, and boiled oysters. Not only can you get unlimited refills, but you can also learn how to properly shuck oysters and savor their fresh, sweet taste firsthand.

Formal visit to the Inner Shrine of Ise Grand Shrine
