Uozu Port, a champion in red snow crab catches, has nurtured unique culinary wisdom. Seafood wholesaler “Haritaya” will personally teach you how to deftly dissect red snow crabs using only your hands. The freshly cooked Koshi snow crab meat is tender, sweet, and juicy. During the 60-minute all-you-can-eat session, you can use the techniques you’ve learned to fully enjoy this gift from Toyama Bay.
Artisan-level handmade: Creating your own unique trout sushi
Trout sushi is Toyama’s most representative specialty. Under the guidance of a professional chef, you will experience the entire process from laying out the sasagi leaves, distributing the trout slices, to pressing the rice firmly. This handmade “corner-shaped” trout sushi will be neatly packaged, making it the most luxurious souvenir or takeaway meal for your trip.

Assembly and registration, and health promotion
We gathered at “harita Refrigerated”. Following food hygiene management guidelines, we washed and disinfected our hands, put on aprons, and prepared to begin our craft.

The process is explained and guided step-by-step by a skilled professional. Even beginners can perfectly complete the compaction and shaping process. After sealing, the finished products will be distributed to participants to take home and enjoy.
Red Snow Crab Feast and Shopping at the Source
Hand-peeling crab class and 60-minute all-you-can-eat meal
After learning the secrets to deftly dismantling crabs, enjoy an all-you-can-eat crab feast. A complimentary “Red Bean Rice Cake Sweet Soup” from a local shop is served after the meal to cleanse the palate and alleviate any greasiness.
